Al-Quds – Saba:
Hebrew media reported on Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, stormed al-Aqsa Mosque compound, accompanied by Argentine President Javier Gerardo Milei.
Media reported that Netanyahu and Milei headed to the Western Wall to perform Talmudic rituals, according to al-Mayadeen channel website.
Milei is visiting the occupied territories for the second time during his term.
In a provocative move, the Argentine president demonstrated his bias toward the Israeli enemy. During a speech he delivered in the Knesset on Wednesday, he announced the relocation of his country's embassy to Jerusalem next year, breaking with the prevailing international convention of locating foreign embassies in the Israeli entity in Jaffa (Tel Aviv).
Milei belongs to the far-right movement in Argentina and won the presidency with 55% of the vote in the 2023 presidential election.
After October 7, he declared his support for Israel and Judaism, and also designated Hamas as a "terrorist" movement.
