Spokesman for the Crisis Management Committee in Qom Province Morteza Heidari announced Friday evening that the Iranian air defense successfully shot down a drone belonging to the Zionist entity after it violated the airspace over the holy city of Qom.
Heidari explained in a statement to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency that a unit stationed within the Iranian air defense system was able, moments ago, to detect, track, and shoot down a hostile drone belonging to the Zionist entity that had violated the city's airspace.
Heidari praised the "vigilance and preparedness of the Iranian armed forces," noting that this achievement reflects the armed forces' complete control over the airspace and the defense of the security of Qom Province.
