Tehran – Saba:
Mohammad Eslami, the assistant to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, believes that the goal of what is happening behind the scenes of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is to increase pressure on Tehran to obtain concessions.
In an interview with Iranian television, Eslami said that what we are witnessing today is a set of political and psychological measures under the direction of the United States, with a role played by Britain, France, Germany, and the IAEA Director General, according to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
He emphasized that Zionist influence on this path is predominant, and its goal is to exert more pressure on Iran to obtain concessions.
Eslami said: The result of these measures is what American officials say: dismantling and bombing the Iranian nuclear program, or Iran halting this program.
He continued that these justifications are being pursued with the aim of exploiting the IAEA, referring to a report broadcast by Reuters after the Board of Governors' vote stating that Iran had failed to fulfill its nuclear obligations to the IAEA, saying that they are brazenly trying to accelerate psychological operations against Iran.
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization confirmed that Iran, in response to this political, extremist, and illegal measure, will, God willing, operate its third enrichment site. This site has been constructed, equipped, and is in a safe and secure location.
He added that after the IAEA Board's decision was issued, the agency informed the country that the preparation and installation of centrifuges would begin, and that uranium enrichment would also begin there. This site will be equipped with new machines to replace the previous first-generation machines, and the process will continue with the installation of advanced centrifuges.
