Gaza – Saba:
The United Nations has said that "the complete collapse of internet services across the Gaza Strip has completely paralyzed humanitarian relief operations."
The organization confirmed in a press statement that "the internet outage was caused by damage to the last cable connecting the central and southern Gaza Strip to the global network," suggesting that it was "due to military activity," according to Quds Press.
It noted that "the communication outage has led to the disruption of supply lines and emergency services, severely hampering efforts to coordinate and distribute humanitarian aid in Gaza."
The residents of Gaza are suffering from catastrophic conditions as a result of the Zionist enemy's destruction of infrastructure, the collapse of the health system, and food and water shortages. Approximately 1.5 million Palestinians have been rendered homeless, with more than 70% of the Strip's buildings destroyed, according to UN estimates.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 55,207 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 127,821 others. This is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
