Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Friday appointed Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the appointment follows the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri in a Zionist aggression earlier this morning.
