Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), on Tuesday mourned its martyred comrade, fighter Darwish Ahmed Abu al-Qumsan (Abu Ahmed).
In a statement, the Brigades stated that Darwish, a "hero of the missile unit," was "martyred on the road to al-Quds and Palestine while carrying out a combat mission in conjunction with the Martyr Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades during the battles to defend and confront our people during the epic of October 7 in the northern Gaza Strip."
The statement highlighted Darwish's "sacrifice and redemption" as a "fierce defender" of the Palestinian people and Arab nation. It noted he was wounded three times during the October 7 "epic" but repeatedly returned to the battlefield.
The Brigades' statement affirmed that this loss will only increase their resolve to continue on the path of the martyrs, fighting for "comprehensive and complete liberation," expelling the occupation, restoring usurped rights, and avenging martyrs' blood.
