Washington – Saba:
An American media network has reported a rise in dissenting voices within the ranks of the Zionist enemy’s army, opposing the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The U.S. network NBC published testimonies from soldiers in the Israeli enemy’s army, revealing widening opposition to the genocide in Gaza as the military aggression escalates.
The network highlighted that many enemy soldiers increasingly view the war as "retaliatory" and believe "many innocent people are being killed unnecessarily."
Zionist reserve soldier Yuval Ben Ari told NBC that he refuses to commit war crimes, expressing feelings of shame and guilt over people in Gaza dying of starvation. He called on his government to stop starving two million people in Gaza.
The network also quoted a retired Zionist pilot as saying that his colleagues demand an end to the war **"not because they are tired, but because they believe the war is illegitimate and that 'Israel' has become hostage to Netanyahu’s extremist coalition partners, who blackmail him for political survival."
An air force soldier in the Zionist army accused ministers in the government of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu—wanted by the International Criminal Court—of behaving unethically in their statements regarding Gaza.
The soldier accused Netanyahu and his coalition of abandoning Israeli captives in Gaza to maintain their grip on power.
The growing opposition comes as the Israeli enemy army launches yet another military operation in its ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, which has continued since October 2023.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has committed genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 54,381 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,054 others—figures that are not final, as thousands remain trapped under rubble or in streets inaccessible to rescue teams.
