Sana'a - Saba:
A training course for female staff at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development on public policy formulation began on Saturday in Sana'a, organized by the Women's Development Sector of the ministry.
Over five days, the course aims to equip 25 female leaders and staff members with the concepts and mechanisms of public policy formulation, community participation, and local development.
Dr. Halima Jahaf, Deputy Minister for the Women's Development Sector, explained that the course is part of the ministry's efforts to enhance the capabilities of female staff, ensuring their active participation in administrative and developmental processes.
During the opening session, attended by Assistant Deputy Minister for the Sector Fatima Al-Khatri, Jahaf noted that the program would contribute to strengthening women's leadership and administrative skills.
She emphasized the importance of developing and building women's capacities to enhance their role in local and rural development, highlighting women's ability to be productive and effective in all fields.
