Ibb – Saba:
A meeting in Ibb governorate on Saturday, chaired by governorate undersecretary for Tourism Harith al-Mulaiki, addressed the implementation of an environmental and health awareness campaign in tourism facilities in preparation for Eid al-Adha tourist season.
The meeting, attended by tourism and health officials, reviewed the plan for inspecting hotels, parks, and restaurants across the governorate.
Committees from relevant authorities were approved to carry out the campaign, which will commence before the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Al-Mulaiki emphasized the need to improve tourism facilities, assess service quality, ensure public hygiene, and provide safety measures. He highlighted the campaign's importance in enhancing hotel services and the performance of targeted facilities.
Tourism Sector Official Ghanem Awsaj explained that the campaign aims to regulate tourism facilities, improve service quality, and implement tourism and health requirements according to the law. He stressed the need for unified oversight standards and the involvement of relevant authorities.
The Director of the Environmental Health Department noted that the campaign includes awareness programs on health standards and regulations to improve the performance of tourism facilities.
