Hodeida - Saba:
A meeting in al-Sukhnah district of Hodeida province governorate, chaired by governorate undersecretary Amer Muthanna, was held on Saturday to discuss the status of endowments (religious endowments) in the district, address issues, and increase their revenues.
The meeting, attended by district and security directors, and the endowment director, reviewed challenges and ways to improve endowment management. Key points of discussion included activating donor wills, directing endowment funds to their intended Sharia-compliant uses, and resolving legal cases related to endowment properties.
A plan for a field visit to inventory and survey endowment lands, resolve related issues, and officially register properties was also discussed.
The Deputy Governor stressed the importance of protecting endowment assets, monitoring beneficiaries, and ensuring the legal status of endowment properties aligns with regulations.
Muthanna emphasized the need for collaboration among relevant authorities to preserve and optimally invest endowments for the benefit of society as a sustainable development and charitable resource.
The meeting included representatives from the Endowments Authority, Legal Affairs, and the Land Authority.
