The United States has banned Palestinian national basketball team captain Tamer Habash from entering the United States due to his anti-war posts on the Gaza Strip.

According to the Sanad News Agency on Saturday, Habash, 31, refused to play basketball in protest against the ongoing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian national team captain and Qalandia Youth Club star expressed his opposition to the Israeli crimes committed against the Palestinian people through his posts on various social media platforms.
