Occupied Quds – Saba:
The families of Israeli captives warned on Sunday against the expansion of the Israeli occupation forces' military operations in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the only way to secure the return of their captive sons is through a deal—even if the price is ending the war.
During a meeting with the Israeli occupation army's Chief of Staff, war criminal Eyal Zamir, the families cautioned against endangering the remaining captives amid the escalating aggression on Gaza, according to the "Sanad" News Agency.
They stated that expanding the war would lead to more captives being killed, noting that "41 captives have already been killed due to military operations," based on testimonies from released prisoners who reported deteriorating conditions under Israeli bombardment.
The families rejected the expansion of the Israeli army's attacks on Gaza, warning that "military pressure" threatens the lives of the remaining captives. Meanwhile, the criminal Zamir claimed that recovering the hostages remains the army’s "top priority."
The families emphasized, "Expanding the bombardment puts the captives at real risk, and this danger has already cost us the lives of our loved ones." They stressed that the only way to bring the survivors home is through an agreement—even if it means ending the war.
"We are sounding the alarm for the remaining 58 captives, so they may return alive and allow the burial of those who have died,"the families said.
With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 54,418 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,190 others—a non-final toll, as thousands remain trapped under rubble or in streets, unreachable by rescue teams.
