The Resistance Committees in Palestine called on the security services in the Gaza Strip on Thursday to deal firmly and forcefully with the collaborators, thieves, and armed gangs that are wreaking havoc and crimes against the citizens of the Strip.
In a statement, the Resistance Committees affirmed their strong, determined, and steadfast support for the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza and its security services, which constitute a shield and a bulwark for the defense of the Palestinian people.
They stressed the "need to work relentlessly to eradicate this deviant, rogue group that serves only the goals of the criminal Zionist enemy to transform the Gaza Strip into an arena of chaos."
The committees stated: "In the face of all the conspiracies and ongoing aggression, a group of enemy mercenaries appears, declaring their defeat and raising their suspicious, betrayal-filled mouthpieces, raising the banner of surrender and demanding that our people and resistance follow in their defeated footsteps."
They added: "Despite the pain, destruction, siege, and war of extermination, all the attempts of the Zionist criminals have failed miserably and have been defeated. All their declared campaigns have been defeated in the face of the courage of the Palestinian people and their resistance. They seek to break their will and are spreading their deceit and malice in order to strike at the popular base and incite chaos through armed gangs that implement the enemy's agenda, preparing the Gaza Strip to become a haven for the Zionist enemy and its cowardly agents and mercenaries."
The resistance committees added: "The Palestinian people are free, honorable, and dignified, waging a fateful, existential war. They know their enemies from their friends, and under no circumstances can they acquiesce to these suspicious campaigns. We will strike with an iron fist anyone who exploits our people's suffering to achieve their own interests, which intersect with those of our people's enemies."
On Thursday afternoon, Zionist enemy forces targeted a group of police officers while they were pursuing thieves in central Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 security personnel and bystanders.
