Occupied Quds - Saba:
Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers today at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, despite severe Israeli restrictions and inspections of visitors.
Quds sources reported that Israeli occupation forces restricted worshippers as they arrived for Friday prayers, checking their IDs and preventing others from entering.
This morning, a group of settlers performed Talmudic rituals and provocative dances in the Old City of occupied Quds, coinciding with the departure of worshippers from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Quds sources reported that groups of settlers spread out in various areas of the Old City of the Holy City,
concentrating on Aladdin Street. They wore biblical clothing and performed provocative rituals. Sources explained that the occupation forces provided protection to the settler groups, coinciding with a heavy deployment in the Old City and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and restrictions on worshippers heading to the mosque for Friday prayers and retreats in its courtyards.
In the same context, calls continue to intensify the presence and pilgrimage to Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Quds, in light of the increasing violations by the occupation forces and settlers.
The calls emphasized the importance of maintaining the continuity of the presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and of mobilizing continuously to protect it from the occupation's schemes and the settlers' ambitions, their continued desecration of its courtyards, and the escalation of their incursions, particularly during Jewish holidays.
They noted that the unprecedented escalation of settler incursions, and their attempts to perform Talmudic rituals and slaughter sacrifices, calls for further Palestinian mobilization to defend Islamic holy sites.
