New York - Saba:

The Indiana Pacers continued their impressive run in the NBA playoffs, taking a 2-0 lead over the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals after a 114-109 victory on Friday at Madison Square Garden.

The series now moves to Indiana, which will host the next two games and will be able to secure a spot in the NBA Finals on home soil. The winner of four out of seven games advances to the finals.

Cameroon's Pascal Siakam excelled, scoring 39 points, his highest total in a playoff appearance.

All of Indiana's starters scored 10 or more points. Myles Turner finished with 16 points, while Tyrese Haliburton had 14 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds. Canadian Andrew Nemhard and Aaron Nesmith each added 12 points.

The scenario of the game was different from the first, in which Indiana overcame a 14-point deficit in the dying seconds, and the scoring was intense, ending the game 138-135 in overtime.

The Knicks showed resilience in the fourth quarter, attempting to turn a 10-point deficit into a single point before the Pacers closed out the game.

This is the Pacers' sixth consecutive away win, since losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

On the losing side, distributor Jaylen Brunson scored 36 points, while Mikal Bridges and Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns each scored 20 points.
