The Iranian army has affirmed its full readiness to confront any threat or aggression targeting the country's territory, noting that it monitors all enemy movements and will resolutely confront any attempt to undermine national sovereignty.
In a statement issued on Saturday on the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, the Iranian Army said:
"We commemorate this anniversary at a time when the enemies of the Islamic regime continue their attempts to weaken the Islamic Republic through conspiracies and plots. However, the Army, under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and relying on its own capabilities, is closely monitoring the enemy's movements and will firmly confront any threat or aggression. Along with other armed forces, we are fully prepared to defend the nation's territorial integrity, independence, and security, and we will never allow the ominous dreams of lurking enemies to materialize."
At the end of its statement, the Iranian army affirmed its "firm commitment to the noble Iranian people, that it will continue to defend this land until the last drop of blood, and that it will spare no effort in the cause of the glory and honor of Islamic Iran."
