Gaza - Saba:
Three medical personnel were injured on Friday afternoon when an Israeli drone targeted Al-Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar, northern Gaza.
Director of al-Awda Hospital Mohammed Saleha announced in a press statement that three medical personnel, one of whom was seriously injured, were injured in an Israeli drone strike while they were inside the reception and emergency department.
He pointed out that fires were still raging in the hospital facilities after being targeted by enemy forces. The occupation forces deliberately set fire to the central warehouses, and the Civil Defense was unable to fully control the fire, which destroyed medical equipment and supplies in the hospital.
Saleha appealed to the World Health Organization to provide the hospital with medicines and medical supplies before a disaster occurs, given that Al-Awda Hospital is the only hospital in northern Gaza.
He explained that there are 19 patients and injured people in the hospital, including three who require surgery, and the occupation is preventing their transfer to other hospitals.
