The Omani Foreign Ministry stated that the fifth round of indirect Iranian-American negotiations, held on Friday in the Italian capital Rome with Omani mediation, achieved some progress without reaching decisive results.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi explained: "The talks made some progress without reaching conclusive results, and we hope in the coming days to clarify the outstanding issues, allowing us to move forward toward the shared goal of reaching a sustainable and honorable agreement."
According to the Omani News Agency, this round of talks comes as a continuation of both sides' mutual desire to seek peaceful solutions and promote a climate of dialogue to reach an understanding regarding their outstanding issues.
