Washington - Saba:
American tech giant Microsoft has blocked emails containing words like "Palestine," "Gaza," and "genocide" from reaching recipients.
According to The Verge, a U.S.-based technology news site, Microsoft employees noticed on Thursday that some of their emails were not being delivered. Upon reviewing their sent messages, they discovered that Microsoft had prevented emails containing terms such as "Palestine," "Gaza," and "genocide" from being delivered, both internally and externally.
Microsoft confirmed that it implemented this measure to reduce "political emails" within the company.
In mid-May, Microsoft's management stated in a press release that it provides cloud computing and artificial intelligence services to the Israeli occupation army's ministry, claiming there is "no evidence these technologies are being used to harm civilians."
