The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised the massive demonstrations that swept through European cities in recent days in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza who are facing a campaign of genocide by Israeli forces since 7 October seventh 2023
In a statement on Monday the Front noted the participation of hundreds of thousands of demonstrators in the streets of London Paris Berlin Rome Madrid Stockholm Amsterdam Athens Copenhagen and others expressing deep solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza and rejecting the genocidal crimes committed by the zionist enemy with direct support from the united states of America.
The Front stated that this popular movement has marked a significant shift in pressure on European decision makers particularly in light of progressive positions taken by some governments such as Spain Norway and Belgium and has contributed to unsettling the complicit official stances in other countries.
The Front stressed the need to harness this growing popular momentum to isolate the Israeli enemy boycott its institutions and push for the exclusion of the genocidal entity from international events especially the Eurovision contest which the enemy seeks to use to polish its image and whitewash its crimes before the world.
It affirmed that these widespread mass actions demonstrate the increasing isolation faced by the zionist entity and represent an important asset that must be developed and escalated towards imposing a comprehensive popular and moral boycott of its military political cultural and economic institutions.
The front called on European masses to continue and intensify the movement expand its geographical reach ensure its sustainability and apply pressure to halt the supply of weapons and political support to the Israeli enemy and prevent any form of normalization or legitimization of an entity committing daily war crimes against our people in Gaza.
With American and European support the Israeli enemy has since October seventh two thousand twenty three committed genocide and imposed a total blockade on the Gaza strip resulting in over one hundred seventy four thousand martyrs and wounded most of them children and women in addition to over fourteen thousand missing persons.
