Gaza - Saba:
Rami Abdo, head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, said that of the five trucks that entered the Gaza Strip on Monday, two were loaded with shrouds donated by an Arab country through the United Nations.
Abdo emphasized in a press statement on Monday that the shrouds are not food aid; rather, they are preparation for mass death, and that Gaza is not being fed, but buried.
He explained that the statement condemning the crimes of the Israeli occupation issued by the leaders of Britain, France, and Canada—who were among the most prominent supporters of the genocide in its first months—was stronger and clearer than the final statement issued by the Arab League.
Abdo pointed out that the statement issued by the leaders of Britain, France, and Canada reveals the level of Arab disappointment, betrayal, and conspiracy.
He explained that the international position has begun to shift toward pressuring the occupation—particularly a joint statement by 25 mostly Western countries—rejecting the new Israeli-American plan to manage starvation in Gaza through aid and affirming non-cooperation with a model that links relief to political and military objectives.
Abdo revealed that European Union foreign ministers will discuss tomorrow the possibility of suspending the partnership agreement with Israel.
He pointed out that the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, along with its partners, launched the largest advocacy and pressure campaign in recent days to supply Gaza with food, halt the genocide, and reject Israeli enemy demands.
With American support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 172,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
