Gaza - Saba:
Muhammad Saleh, acting director of Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, stated that the hospital is operating under extremely difficult conditions due to the ongoing siege, closed crossings, severe shortages of medicines, medical supplies, and fuel needed to keep the hospital running.
In a press statement on Wednesday, Saleh explained that Israeli occupation forces are brutally targeting civilians in northern Gaza, describing last night as "the bloodiest night yet."
He stressed that the health system is collapsing and cannot handle the overwhelming number of casualties at once, adding, "For over eight hours, ambulance crews have been transporting the wounded to hospitals in northern Gaza."
Saleh noted that the enemy forces' issuance of new evacuation orders for some areas in northern Gaza exacerbates the already complex and compounded crises, leading to increased displacement in an extremely cramped geographic area.
He called on the international community to pressure the enemy to stop the massacres against civilians in Gaza, open the crossings, and allow the entry of humanitarian aid, medicines, medical supplies, and fuel so that health services can be provided.
Since dawn on March 18, 2025, the enemy forces have renewed their aggression on Gaza with airstrikes across the Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of over 2,799 citizens and the injury of 7,805 others. This escalation violates a ceasefire agreement with Hamas and resistance factions, which had lasted about 60 days after being brokered by the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar.
With American support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which has left over 171,000 martyrs and wounded—most of them women and children—and more than 14,000 missing.
