Madrid - Saba:
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez responded on Wednesday to a member of parliament's comments regarding Spanish trade with the genocidal state of Israel, using the same term: "We do not conduct trade with a state that practices genocide."
He emphasized that his country's policy will be based on "commitment to human rights," adding that "what is happening in the Gaza Strip cannot be justified under any pretext."
It is worth noting that Spain was among the first European countries to cut off military aid to Israel and called for an immediate end to the war on the Gaza Strip. It also supported legal proceedings against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
