Occupied Quds -Saba:
This Thursday morning, families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza, along with activists from the Women's Protest Movement, demonstrated and blocked Ayalon Highway near the Yehudit Bridge in Tel Aviv. They protested what they described as "continuous obstruction" by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of efforts to reach an agreement to release the prisoners.
According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the protesters held up a banner reading: "Netanyahu is undermining the will of the people - Bring everyone back, get out of Gaza."
They accused Netanyahu of sabotaging all initiatives aimed at ending the war and returning the prisoners, claiming that "82 percent of Israelis support an agreement that would return the prisoners and end the war, but the government continues to ignore their will."
"Israel's achievements were not exploited to reach an agreement. They are not making every effort to secure their release," said Lishi Lavi, the wife of prisoner Omri Miran.
