The local authority and the General Mobilization in Bani Matar District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a speech event on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
During the event, held in Matnah Square, the Director of Zakat Awareness at the governorate's Zakat Office, Ibrahim Hameeduddin, emphasized the importance of reviving this occasion to draw lessons and insights from the enlightening life of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him).
He noted that Imam Zaid led an intellectual, cultural, and jihadist revolution to restore the nation to its rightful path and uplift it from oppression and injustice.
For his part, the Director of Guidance in the district, Mohammed Al-Qasimi, stressed the need to educate generations about Imam Zaid’s approach and legacy, urging them to follow his principles, steadfastness, and courage in confronting arrogance, aggression, and subjugation.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people’s stance in supporting the Palestinian people is a result of adhering to the path of Imam Zaid’s revolution and principles (peace be upon him), who rejected injustice and tyranny and called for the advancement of the nation in all fields.
