The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, considered the assassination of Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih while he was receiving treatment at Nasser Medical Complex a "heinous crime that represents a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws."
Hamas said in a press statement on Tuesday, "In a new crime added to the black record of the Zionist enemy, the Zionist enemy forces committed a cowardly assassination of the heroic Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih, by directly targeting him while he was receiving treatment at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, after a previous injury he had sustained as a result of a Zionist bombing that targeted the journalists' tent in Khan Yunis."
She stressed that this assassination represents a double crime that reflects Zionist sadism and the systematic insistence on eliminating free voices and suppressing the truth, without the slightest regard for any human or legal value. She explained that this complex crime, which represents a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, reflects the occupation's moral and media bankruptcy, and exposes the falsity of its claim to the world.
