The US State Department announced on Tuesday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the Ukrainian settlement issue by phone with the foreign ministers of Ukraine and European countries.

The US State Department said in a statement, "Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today (Tuesday) with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadebold, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, British Foreign Secretary David Lamy, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sipia, and EU High Representative Kaja Kallas."

The statement added, "The ministers discussed ways to move forward with the ceasefire and ways to achieve peace in Ukraine."
