Gaza - (Saba):
A Palestinian citizen was martyred and several others were injured on Monday morning as a result of continued Israeli shelling in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing medical sources, one person was killed and others were wounded due to Israeli artillery shelling near Hamouda Roundabout in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Qizan An-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis city, is under ongoing artillery bombardment.
In addition, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy machine-gun fire in the northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched a brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 52,535 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and 118,491 injuries. The toll is not final, as many victims remain under the rubble or lying in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and rescue crews.
