Today, Monday, the Zionist enemy forces intensified their presence in the streets of Tulkarm, deploying around Jamal Abdel Nasser Square amid noticeable military alertness.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), enemy vehicles disrupted traffic by driving against the flow of vehicles in several streets, particularly Nablus Street, Thabet Thabet Roundabout, the vegetable market, Jamal Abdel Nasser Square, and Al-Maslakh Street in the eastern neighborhood.
The agency added that enemy soldiers chased a number of young men in the city center, firing sound grenades at them, which caused panic among citizens, especially given the heavy crowds in the city at this time. They also arrested the young man, Youssef Shtaywi, near Jamal Abdel Nasser Square.
The city, its suburbs, and its refugee camps have been witnessing continuous movements by enemy vehicles and infantry patrols, which provocatively roam the streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles while pursuing them. These actions are accompanied by the firing of live bullets, sound grenades, and toxic gas toward Palestinians.
