New York - (Saba):
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warned that its medical services in the Gaza Strip are suffering from a "severe shortage" of resources, in light of the blockade and ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Strip.
The agency stated in a post on its X platform last night that "nearly a third of essential (medical) supplies in the Strip have run out, and the other third is expected to run out in less than two months."
It noted that it remains one of the most prominent health providers in Gaza.
It emphasized that its medical services are suffering from a severe shortage of resources, given the ongoing blockade and Israeli bombardment of the Strip.
