Tubas - Saba:
Israeli forces prevented dozens of Palestinian teachers from reaching schools in the Palestinian Jordan Valley on Monday.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli enemy is currently preventing approximately 130 teachers in the northern Jordan Valley and 150 students in the central and southern Jordan Valley from passing through the Hamra military checkpoint.
The Hamra checkpoint, located at a crossroads linking the West Bank governorates and the Palestinian Jordan Valley, has been subject to military reinforcements and frequent closures of Palestinian movement for two years.
A large segment of Palestinian citizens rely on these checkpoints to reach their workplaces, given that the Tayasir checkpoint, east of Tubas, is closed for most of the day, and that the checkpoint is also subject to increased security measures.
