Gaza - (Saba):
The Israeli army announced the death of a sergeant in an operational vehicle ramming incident near Gaza Strip yesterday.
The army said in a statement, "The deceased soldier in the occupation army is First Sergeant (Reserve) Degen Daniel Sahloo, 41, from the city of Rehovot."
The statement continued, "He was a fighter in the heavy equipment unit of the 5067th Engineering Battalion, part of the Israeli Combat Engineering Corps, and was killed in an operational vehicle accident during military activity in the Gaza Strip area."
