Algeria reiterated its categorical rejection of the circulating plans aimed at displacing the people of Gaza and emptying it of its original inhabitants, as part of a broader scheme aimed at destroying the Palestinian national project, Algerian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday: "Algeria reiterated its firm conviction that the achievement of sustainable peace in the Middle East remains fully linked to the realization of the rights of the Palestinian people and enabling them to establish their independent and sovereign state according to the internationally agreed two-state formula as a just, lasting and definitive solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict."
Algeria also expressed its hope that "the efforts of the mediation group will continue with broad international support to ensure the consolidation of this agreement and the follow-up of its implementation in all its contents and in all its dimensions," the statement said.
