Ramallah - Saba:
The Zionist enemy prison authority announced, at dawn today, Monday, the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners from Ofer prison, after the release of three Zionist female prisoners from the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian media, Jerusalemite prisoner Zeina Barbar arrived at her family's home in occupied Jerusalem after her release from Al-Maskoubiya prison.

Prisoner Roza Khweis also arrived at her family's home in the town of Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.

The buses carrying the released Palestinian prisoners arrived in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, before heading to their towns in the West Bank.

The Prisoners' Media Office reported at dawn today that during the process of checking the names of the prisoners released in "Ofer" prison, it was found that there was a shortage in the name of a Palestinian female prisoner.

The office affiliated with the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" said: "Technical teams are communicating with mediators and the Red Cross to pressure the occupation entity to abide by the agreed list of prisoners."

In turn, Al-Mayadeen said: The occupation forces are trying to put pressure on the families of prisoners in the vicinity of "Ofer" prison in Beitunia, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

It pointed out that "the occupation forces attacked the residents in Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and are trying to spoil the joy of the release of the prisoners."

On Sunday evening, the Zionist enemy forces suppressed hundreds of Palestinians who gathered near the "Ofer" military checkpoint and prison, southwest of the city of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, awaiting the release of the first batch of female and child prisoners.

The Palestinian Information Center said: The occupation forces fired a barrage of tear gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinians in the vicinity of and near "Ofer" prison, noting that several injuries occurred.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated in a statement today that its medical teams dealt with seven injuries during the occupation forces' suppression of Palestinians around Ofer Prison, southwest of Ramallah, while they were waiting for the release of prisoners as part of the exchange deal.

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Taha Amr, the father of prisoner Jenin Amr, who is expected to be among the prisoners released in the first batch of the agreement, complained about the absence of any official body, whether from "Israel" or the Palestinian Authority, to provide information to the families of the prisoners about the arrangements and timing of the release.

The prisoner's father added: "We have been waiting since 3 pm and we have not received any information about the timing of the release of the prisoners. There is no mechanism or clear information about how to receive our daughters who are scheduled to be released."

He confirmed that the occupation authorities asked the families of the female prisoners not to hold any celebrations or receive well-wishers or publish pictures. He added: Zionist officers threatened the families with punishment if they celebrated the release of their daughters.

Regarding his daughter, Janin, who is expected to be released as part of a batch that includes women and children, Dr. Amr said that Janin is 25 years old and her imprisonment has been extended repeatedly without any justification.
