18 people were martyred in raids launched by the Zionist enemy aircraft on Baalbek-Hermel province in Lebanon yesterday, including four martyrs in Mazraat Sajd in the town of Zaghrein, and five martyrs in the town of Al-Qasr in Al-Hermel district.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the enemy warplanes targeted a two-storey building in the Al-Laqis neighbourhood in Baalbek city, and civil defence teams put out the fire, while the bulldozers of Baalbek municipality worked to open the road and remove the rubble.
The warplanes also launched a raid on a building in the town of Sareen al-Tahta, killing one citizen and wounding four, and the enemy launched a raid on the town of al-Saeeda, west of Baalbek, without causing any casualties.
The Zionist enemy committed a massacre in the town of Badnayel, killing four citizens and wounding three others, followed by another massacre in the town by targeting a house, killing one person and wounding three others.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Baalbek al-Hermel governorate to the central Bekaa, 796 people have been killed and more than 1,350 injured.
The Israeli attacks continued throughout last night until this morning on the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts, where Israeli warplanes attacked the towns of Barghaliya, Ain al-Tuta neighbourhood between Burj Rahal and al-Abbasiya, the entrance to Tayrdba, Ramadiyah, Jamijma, Shihabiya, Batulia, Qalawiya and Burj Qalawiya, while reconnaissance, surveillance and warplanes flew over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts and fired flare bombs over the western and central sectors down to the Litani River and sea coastline, coinciding with this.
At dawn today, the enemy opened heavy machine-gun fire in the direction of the forests adjacent to the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouna, Alma al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa, al-Dhaira and Ayta al-Shaab.
Enemy soldiers attempted to infiltrate into Lebanese territory from several locations in the western and central sectors, but the resistance attacked their gatherings in the axis of Ramia al-Qouzah and Ayta al-Shaab, achieving direct casualties.
The rainy weather last night increased the suffering of the displaced people in their locations due to the lack of heating and winter blankets.
