GAZA August 30. 2024 (Saba) – Occupation shelling early Friday morning claimed the lives of five Palestinians, including a child, in the Gaza Strip. The attacks targeted the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis and Jabalia camp.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, Occupation airstrikes hit a house belonging to Abu Daqqa family in Abasan al-Kabira, killing three people and injuring others, who were transported to Nasser Hospital.
In a separate incident, two Palestinians, including a child, were martyred when Occupation forces shelled a residential apartment near al-Hawja intersection in Jabalia camp.
The Red Crescent reported transferring injured individuals to al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat camp following the Occupation shelling of a house owned by al-Qassas family.
Additionally, seven critically injured people were taken to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli warplane targeted a house in al-Fakhari, east of Khan Yunis.
Israeli artillery continued its assault, targeting various areas including Zeitoun, al-Rimal, Tal al-Hawa, al-Shati camp, al-Sabra neighborhood, and the northern and western regions of the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 40,602 Palestinians and injuries to 93,855 others, with many more victims still trapped under rubble and unreachable due to the severe conditions.
