Palestinian call for end to Zionist violations in Al-Aqsa Mosque

RAMALLAH August 26. 2024 - The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf on Monday called on the Arab, Islamic nations and international institutions to put an end to the Zionist violations at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Quds.

According to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the ministry said in a statement that what Zionist enemy is practicing, whether through its forces protecting settlers to storm Al-Aqsa, or through the statements of the extremist Ben-Gvir who threatens to demolish the mosque and build a synagogue in its place in a step that comes within hatred and hostility to religions.

The ministry added that the statements of Ben-Gvir come in the context of clear political and security support for him and his extremist group, and push towards spreading hatred and working on increasing attacks, in an attempt to demolish Al-Aqsa and turn it into a Jewish synagogue based on myths and legends.

The ministry touched upon the enemy's attacks on religious shrines, both in the West Bank, including Quds, and in Gaza Strip, which is suffering from a criminal war in which the Zionist machine worked to destroy mosques, churches and reached the point of publicly tearing up the Koran and burning it in a show style mocking the feelings of the Arab and Islamic nations.

"We need to mobilize Islamic and international institutions and organizations to stop these practices and statements that would ignite a religious war, and people of the holy city need to protect Al-Aqsa by stationing in it and paying attention to it," the ministry said.
