OCCUPIED QUDS August 16. 2024 (Saba) - Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid strict Zionist military measures that denied other worshipers from various areas of the West Bank and Quds from access to the Holy Mosque.
In a statement, the Islamic Endowments Department in Quds estimated the number of worshipers at about 40,000 Palestinian citizens, noting that the repressive Zionist measures prevented thousands of others from reaching Al-Aqsa to pray.
Since the start of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip seven months ago, the occupation forces have tightened their measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa and at the entrances to the Old City, and prevent citizens from Quds and the Palestinians of 48 from entering the mosque to perform prayers.
