The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday evening the martyrdom of 13-year-old Ammar Mu'taz Hamayel after being critically wounded by gunfire from Zionist occupation forces near the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah in occupied Palestine.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Zionist forces had earlier fired live ammunition at the child, detaining him for some time before handing him over to a Palestinian ambulance. He was transported to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
The incident has sparked renewed condemnation of the ongoing Israeli violence against Palestinian civilians, particularly children, in the occupied territories.
