Tehran – Saba:
The Iranian News Agency confirmed on Monday evening that the Iranian Armed Forces launched an attack on the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar as part of Operation "Promised Conquest."
The Iranian Armed Forces stated: "We carried out a powerful and devastating missile strike on Al-Udeid Base in Qatar in response to the American aggression early Sunday."
They added: "The resolve of our forces will turn any repetition of aggression into an accelerator for the collapse of the U.S. military structure in the region."
The statement said: "Following the blatant military aggression by the criminal U.S. regime against the peaceful nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran—a clear violation of international law—and based on the decision of the Supreme National Security Council and under the directive of the Central Command of the Seal of the Prophets (PBUH), the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps executed Operation 'Promised Conquest,' targeting Al-Udeid Base in Qatar using devastating and powerful missiles."
It continued: "The message of this decisive response from the sons of our nation in the Armed Forces to the White House and its allies is clear and explicit: 'The Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on Almighty God and supported by its faithful and honorable people, will not leave any aggression against its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national security unanswered under any circumstances.'"
The statement further emphasized: "The U.S. military bases and mobile targets in the region are not points of strength but major vulnerabilities and the 'Achilles' heel' of this warmongering regime."
Tehran warned that "any repetition of aggression will become a spark accelerating the collapse of the U.S. military framework in the region."
Explosions Heard Near Doha
Loud explosions were heard in various areas outside the Qatari capital, Doha, on Monday.
Eyewitnesses reported that residents in areas such as Al-Wakra, Al-Rayyan, Al-Musaymeer, Muaither, Salwa, and Al-Sailiya felt tremors caused by powerful explosions, coinciding with the flight of aircraft and drones in the skies.
Global media reports, including posts on platform "X," indicated that Iran had launched six missiles toward Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Earlier, Doha had temporarily closed its airspace, a move that raised questions, though the Foreign Ministry stated that the measure was part of "security precautions," while denying any direct threat to the country’s security or the safety of its citizens.
