Thousands of Moroccans demonstrated yesterday evening, Sunday, in solidarity with the Gaza Strip and to condemn the genocide that the Israeli enemy has been perpetrating there since October 7, 2023.
A march was held in the capital, Rabat, called for by the "Action Group for Palestine," calling for support for Palestine in confronting the Israeli occupation and for the Palestinians, according to SAFA News Agency.
The demonstrators, who set out from the historic Bab al-Had (center of the capital) toward the parliament building, chanted slogans in support of Gaza and the steadfastness of the Palestinians there, along with slogans in support of Iran against "Israel."
Local sources reported that the demonstrators burned the Israeli flag in support of Gaza, and that they raised the Moroccan flag alongside the Palestinian flag.
On an almost daily basis, Moroccan cities have witnessed popular protests in support of Gaza since the Israeli occupation began its devastating aggression on the Palestinian Strip on October 7, 2023.
Last Friday, demonstrations also took place in several cities denouncing the ongoing massacres, the systematic starvation policy, and the enemy's targeting of aid-seekers in the Gaza Strip through "death traps."
