The Public Prosecutor's Office in Hamadan Province, western Iran, announced on Monday the arrest of a European spy for the Zionist entity who entered the country as a tourist.
The public prosecutor said, "A person with European citizenship entered Iran under the guise of tourism and was arrested by Imam Zaman soldiers at the Ansar al-Hussein Intelligence Organization of the Revolutionary Guards in Hamadan," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
He added, "Based on technical observations and a series of intelligence measures by security forces, it was determined that this individual was part of an organized spy network for the Zionist entity, whose specific mission was to gather sensitive information and disrupt the country's attack and missile systems."
He explained, "This Zionist spy, who entered the country under a false identity and under the guise of tourism, attempted to communicate and obtain strategic data by communicating with certain people and infiltrating various strata of society."
