HODEIDA August 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of Al-Hodeida Province for Eastern Directorates Affairs, Amer Muthanna, launched on Saturday the shelter aid distribution to families affected by floods in Bajil Directorate.
The aid targets 250 affected cases in Bajil city and Deir Hamza village in Al-Hadhariyah district, provided by the Yemeni Red Crescent Society as part of the emergency response plan to confront flood damages adopted by the Society to alleviate the suffering of affected families in the squares of the northern, southern and eastern directorates.
During the distribution, Undersecretary Muthanna praised the humanitarian role of the Red Crescent Society in helping those affected by the torrential rains, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to provide aid to all areas and villages that have suffered damage.
