GAZA July 15. 2024 (Saba) - The government media office in Gaza has leveled severe accusations against the United States, alleging its complicity in enabling the "enemy" to commit genocide against Palestinians.
In a scathing press statement issued today, Monday, the office condemned what it described as America's blatant disregard for civilian lives and humanitarian principles.
It accused the U.S. administration, led by President Joe Biden, of facilitating this crime by supplying internationally prohibited weapons to the Israeli occupation forces.
According to the statement, these weapons, including bunker-busting bombs, GPS-guided missiles, white phosphorus bombs, and others, have been used indiscriminately by the occupation forces, resulting in the deaths of over 38,500 Palestinians and injuries to more than 88,800 since October 7, 2023.
The casualties, predominantly women and children, continue to mount amid ongoing attacks that have decimated housing, hospitals, schools, and other essential infrastructure.
The government media office called on the international community and all ethical nations to condemn the U.S. administration's actions and hold it accountable for what it termed a grave breach of international law and human rights.
It urged global organizations and courts to intervene decisively to halt these violations and ensure justice for Palestinian victims.
