Geneva - Saba:
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Thursday that it had delivered its first medical shipment to Gaza since the beginning of last March.
In a post on the platform "X," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that the nine trucks carrying the supplies represent "a drop in the ocean," indicating their insufficiency given the sector's needs.
He added that "nine trucks loaded with essential medical supplies, 2,000 units of blood, and 1,500 units of plasma" had entered the enclave, confirming that the supplies would be distributed to priority hospitals within days.
