HEBRON July 15. 2024 (Saba) - A Palestinian boy was seriously injured by live bullets on Monday during clashes with Israeli forces in Shuyoukh al-Arroub, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Wafa News Agency, Israeli forces entered Sheikh Al-Arroub and used live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas against the residents.
The boy sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, which medical sources have described as serious. Additionally, dozens of people suffered from tear gas inhalation.
In a related incident, Israeli forces continued bulldozing large areas of land in the Zohr Sobh area, which belongs to the towns of Sarta and Bidya, west of Salfit. Anti-settlement activist Nazmi al-Salman reported that these extensive bulldozing operations, ongoing for several months, aim to extend water lines for Israeli settlements at the expense of Palestinian land.
The land leveling has reached the main road in Dahr Sobh area and is accompanied by similar operations in the lands of Kifl Haris, northwest of Salfit, and Wadi Qana, near Deir Istiya.
