GAZA June 11. 2024 (Saba) -The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, confirmed that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip, and that the deteriorating situation there is getting worse.

Guterres said during his speech at the Emergency Humanitarian Response Conference for the Gaza Strip held in the Dead Sea area in Jordan, today, Tuesday: 80 percent of the population of the Gaza Strip does not find clean drinking water due to the ongoing war and the cessation of aid.

He pointed out that all aid is prevented from entering the Gaza Strip.. calling for opening all roads to the Strip to deliver aid.

He called for ending the war on Gaza and respecting international law.. stressing that the fear experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip must stop.

Guterres called on both the Zionist entity and the Hamas movement to quickly reach an agreement to stop the war and release prisoners, protect civilians in the Strip and secure the necessary infrastructure for their livelihood.
