Ramallah - Saba:
A Palestinian young man was shot by Zionist occupation forces on Thursday while attempting to confront a settler attack in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
Local sources told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that the young man was hit by live fire in the abdomen after being targeted by enemy soldiers in Al-Khalayil area, south of Al-Mughayyir, as he tried to repel settlers who had stormed the area and assaulted the family of citizen Rizq Abu Na'im.
The sources added that the occupation forces arrested citizen Fatima Abu Na'im (30 years old), a resident of Al-Khalayil, which the settlers had attacked.
The settlers, under the protection of the enemy army, had assaulted Abu Na'im’s family and physically attacked a female citizen.
Following the attack, a larger group of settlers was seen gathering on the hill opposite Al-Khalayil, prompting local villagers to mobilize in support of Abu Na'im’s family amid fears of a wider assault.
