Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, mourned five of its martyrs on Thursday, who were martyred in a clash with Zionist enemy forces in the town of Tamoun, in the city of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank.
In a press statement, Saraya said: "We mourn the martyr commander Saher Jadallah Bisharat, the martyr commander Ibrahim Rafi Bani Odeh, the martyr commander Reda Farhoud Bani Odeh, the martyr commander Islam Azmi Bani Odeh, and the martyr mujahid Wadih Iyad Bani Odeh."
It added, "The martyrs were leaders and fighters of Tamoun Company, Tubas Battalion, and were martyred this morning, Thursday, after engaging in an armed clash for several hours with enemy forces who had besieged them in a house in the town of Tamoun.
Al-Quds Brigades affirmed that they will remain steadfast on the path of jihad and resistance until liberation and return.
Local sources reported that Zionist special forces disguised in civilian clothing surrounded a house in Tamoun and targeted it with rockets and "Energa" shells, leading to the martyrdom of five young men inside. The enemy forces then seized their bodies and mutilated them.
The mayor of Tamoun said that the enemy fired approximately seven shells at the targeted house, causing a fire inside.
