SANA'A June 11. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting held today in Sanaa, headed by the Chairman of the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, Yahya Ataifa, discussed the mechanism for implementing networking and automation between the corporation and its affiliated factories.
The meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ayman Al-Khalqi, the vice-presidents of the institution and the directors of departments and committees in charge of preparing and implementing networking, reviewed the mechanism for building a central financial, administrative and technical database for public administration and factories that ensures regular access to data and enables decision-makers to take the necessary measures to develop and modernize the institution in various aspects. .
At the meeting, the head of the Foundation stressed the importance of the project in enhancing institutional work and improving administrative performance, noting that networking comes within the framework of efforts to automate all of the Foundation’s work.
He pointed out that this project comes as a translation of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership to enhance work and provide better services, and is an important step towards digital transformation in the institution and its affiliated factories.
The meeting touched on the importance of creating electronic systems for archiving, incoming and outgoing, and tracking transactions between the public administration and factories to reduce time and effort and facilitate the process of saving and retrieving data.
